PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI) target delivery of one of four units CN-235/MPA aircraft (Maritime Patrol Aircraft) orders in South Korea in late 2010.

"We have four units CN-235/MPA being done PT DI to South Korea. One aircraft is targeted to be submitted end of 2010, "said Public Relations Manager of PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Bandung Rokhendi told AFP on Friday.

PTDI spokesman says, the four maritime patrol aircraft version is still in the stage production hangar construction at the national aerospace company.

The four aircraft ordered CN-235/MPA South Korea through a contract signed in 2008 with a total value of Rp94, 5 million dollars. The execution of the targeted production of complete aircraft and handed over entirely in 2012.

"Submission done in stages, once completed immediately handed over to the buyer," said Rokhendi.

According Rokhendi, terebut MPA aircraft ordered by the South Korean government to complement the country's maritime police.

Korea so far has one of the users of the planes made by PT DI including type CN-235, two of which CN-235 version of the VVIP.

Meanwhile CN-235/MPA is the latest version of the production of PT DI with specialized maritime patrol. The plane was equipped with radar to detect ships in the waters.

In addition, CN-235 military version can also be equipped with weapons such as anti-submarine torpedoes and other weapons.

"Version MPA is currently a pre-eminent and trends, especially for countries that have territorial waters," said Rokhendi.

In addition, PT DI also received orders from three units CN-235/MPA Navy signed a contract in December 2009.

PT DI also still working on three Supar Puma helicopter units of the Air Force orders. Super Puma helicopter is one of the helicopters produced by PT DI.

"Production is currently heli PT IN N-Super Puma and Bell, while the NBO-105 helicopters are not produced anymore because its license with Messoshmit Bolkow Blohm (MBB) is up," the spokesman added PTDI.
