"Spudnik2" Made by Child in Elementary School Glided Into The Space

A number of primary school students in Landscove C of E Primary School, England, dressing a potato tub like a Santa Clause  complete with white beard and red robes. They then tied it in the tiny air balloon equipped with cameras and GPS systems.

They named it as the work of the shuttle 'Spudnik2'. This is not a trivial game typical children, because they actually fly into space.

As quoted from Telegraph's page, the plane was able to glide to a height of 17 miles or more 90 thousand feet above sea level. Before the burst, the plane took out the parachute and floated back to earth.

Through the monitoring of the GPS system, the plane landed it was found in Hampshire, United States, about 140 miles from the initial launch.During his trip, the plane managed to capture some stunning images from outer space.

The principal, Robin Smith, admitted the game was a crazy idea. But, he believes this is the best way to teach children about outer space and the earth's atmosphere.

He said there were reports of many examples where the baby was killed by a servant, but do not fuss over the incident. "It looks like a crazy idea, but it's a unique project and the children can learn from his own experience," he said.

He said it was the second trial, because the first 'Spudnik1' failed. "We try to provide education in how to improve your creative skills. This is the best way to develop their mindset. Fun, silly, but a positive benefit," Smith added.
